“Stories of Your Life and Others” – Political Science Fiction

This is our first collection of short stories. Ted Chiang’s collection is a wonderful group of stories that we enjoyed discussing.

This is one of the more trippy novels we’ve read at Lone Peak. “Ubik” stands out and made for some great conversation.

We’re kicking off “Political Science Fiction” with another book we all were assigned in high school: “Brave New World.”

We’re diving head first into some science fiction, but with a twist: we’re getting political. The third reading group starts now.

To end our rereading of the past, we read a riff on Gothic literature with Jennifer Egan’s “The Keep.”
