“Ubik” – Political Science Fiction

This is one of the more trippy novels we’ve read at Lone Peak. “Ubik” stands out and made for some great conversation.

We’re kicking off “Political Science Fiction” with another book we all were assigned in high school: “Brave New World.”

We’re diving head first into some science fiction, but with a twist: we’re getting political. The third reading group starts now.

To end our rereading of the past, we read a riff on Gothic literature with Jennifer Egan’s “The Keep.”

Everyone was excited to read some Neil Gaiman. We jumped into “American Gods” and were not disappointed.
